Election Dates and Information

Elections are held the first Saturday in May in even-numbered years. Important election dates, including filing deadlines, can be assessed through Secretary of State’s Elections webpage.

The next scheduled election is Saturday, May 2, 2026 and will be held at Ranger College, Welcome Center, 1240 College Circle, Ranger, TX 76470.

Applications for places 2, 4, 5, and 6 on the election ballet are to be filed between January 14, 2026 through February 13, 2026 at 1240 College Circle, Ranger, TX 76470 or gmendoza@rangercollege.edu. Write in candidate deadline is February 17, 2026.
