Our Programs
Ranger College is proud to announce its selection as a recipient of the Texas Reskilling
and Upskilling through Education (TRUE) Grant Program. This grant will enable Ranger
College to create a 6-month training program to prepare students for a career as an
Information Security Analyst, a field with strong employment growth and competitive
wages. The program, developed in collaboration with local and regional industry employers,
has course content aligned with industry expectations. It equips students with essential
cybersecurity skills that meet today’s job market demands through four 8-week courses.
At the conclusion of the program participants will take the Security+ or OSA in Cybersecurity
certification exams, opening doors to immediate employment opportunities.
Designed with flexibility and accessibility in mind, the program is fully online.
Thanks to the TRUE Grant, the first 10 students enrolled in the program will have
their tuition, supplies, and certification testing costs fully covered, removing financial
barriers to this opportunity. This grant enables us to address the cybersecurity skills
gap while empowering students to secure high earning jobs. This initiative supports
the TRUE Grant’s mission to create short-term, industry-aligned training programs
and underscores Ranger College’s dedication to workforce development and empowering
students with skills for economic mobility.
