Christie Stroia was born and raised in Eastland County, Texas. She comes from a long line of artists, musicians, and educators, and has taught every grade from pre-K to college undergraduate. Her biggest passion, whether in the classroom or not, is helping students find their way in life. Her greatest joy is my family, which includes my husband Paul, who is from Romania, my mom Sue, who is a professional artist, and my adopted son Nava, who lives in India.
