Student Resources
This new system contains many features and capabilities that will assist the college
in completing its mission of transforming lives and giving students the skills to
be a positive influence in their community.
The main way students will see this change is in the new MyRanger portal. This portal
is similar to the current Campus Connect portal but adds some additional features.
Some of these features include:
- Ranger College Canvas link
- View unofficial transcript
- View/pay bill
- View degree audit
- View degree plan
- Request official transcript
- Allow parent/guardian access
- Apply for campus housing
In order to make this transition, the college will experience a down time between
using the old system and the new system. This down time will begin October 4 and will end around October 21. During this time the college will not be able to process many of the normal day to
day services students rely on such as sending official transcripts and distributing
student financial aid. The college will be working hard to limit this time frame so
that students are affected as little as possible.
Access and course enrollments in Canvas will not be affected during this time. Students
will still be able to view and complete coursework.
Ranger College will be transitioning from its current student information system to
a new system beginning October 4 through October 21. During this time of transition, you will not be able to login to your Campus Connect account to make payments, order official transcripts or view your degree audit.
We ask that you plan accordingly. The Registrar's Office will accept official transcript requests
until 5:00PM on October 2. From October 3 until the college is live on the new system,
the Registrar's Office will not be able to process official transcript requests of
any kind.
The college will be able to take payments over the phone and in person but will not be able to take any online payments through Campus Connect.
Thank you for your patience and grace during this time of change.
