Ranger College offers a variety of scholarships.
Ranger College Scholarships
Available for baseball, basketball, choir, cross-country, debate, golf, rodeo, soccer,
softball, and volleyball. All RC scholarships require full-time enrollment. Deadline
for application is June 1, 2025. Please contact coaches for specific sport information.
Valedictorian of any accredited Texas high school is eligible for a one-year scholarship
at RC as long as they attend immediately following high school graduation. Must enroll
fulltime and in the first long term semester following graduation from high school.

Students who have attended a Dual Credit at a high school that has partnered with Ranger College may be able to receive our Promise Scholarship. Students may be enrolled full-time and will only be awarded for the long term semesters (Fall and Spring) for a maximum of 4 semesters. Scholarship will vary based on completion of Dual Credit hours.
Scholarship funds will be awarded based on two tiers.
Tier 1 eligible students will receive up to $500 per regular long semester (Fall and Spring) for a maximum of four concurrent semesters.
Tier 1 is worth up to $2000.
Tier 2 eligible students will receive up to $750 per long semester (Fall and Spring) for a maximum of four concurrent semesters.
Tier 2 is worth up to $3000
The Ranger College Promise Scholarship is applicable to tuition and fees only and will be applied after all other federal or state financial grants and/or private scholarships. The Promise Scholarship cannot be combined with or stacked onto any previously awarded merit-based or other scholarship from Ranger College. The Promise Scholarship will not pay over and above tuition and fees and is not refundable.
This scholarship is meant to: 1. Subsidize aid already in place for qualifying students, to fill gaps in their aid, and/or 2. provide aid to those who may not qualify for other federal or state- sponsored programs such as Federal Pell grants etc.
Promise Scholarship Application. Deadline for application is August 1st.The RC Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious academic merit award given
by the College and is based on exceptional academic performance, proven leadership,
and demonstrated service. The award amount will cover full tuition, fees, and dorm
room for one academic year. Deadline for application is May 15, 2025. Presidential Scholarship Application
Ranger College Foundation as well as various Ranger College grants provide scholarships
for our students. These scholarships are earmarked for different types of students
based on many factors: academic history, specific programs or academic pathway, specific
geographic areas, financial need, etc. We encourage RC students to apply for scholarships.
